This is a very racial heavy book, and the trailer looks to follow the formula. There are monsters both human and inhuman in this wild first teaser, which looks to blend grounded social drama and wild monster mayhem.

Lovecraft Country is executive produced by Misha Green, who equally serves as showrunner, along with J.J Abrams, Jordan Peele, Bill Carraro, Yann Demange who directed Episode 1. Daniel Sackheim directed Episodes 2 & 3 and David Knoller the exec producer on Episode 1.
