The countdown is on for October 15. And with the official countdown, we get a new official trailer. Michael Myers is headed back home in the final trailer for Halloween Kills has dropped. Directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green, Scott Teems, and Danny McBride, (the film that has been pushed back a whole year) brings back even more of the old familiar faces from Haddonfield’s past. Kyle Richards, Charles Cyphers, and Nancy Stephens revisit their classic roles alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle.

The film’s official synopsis reads(like we didn’t know it for the last 12 months): Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. Evil dies tonight.

The new trailer is pretty much Michael Myers hacking and slashing his way through Haddonfield on his way back to the house where his killing spree all began. Take a look below and mark your calendars for October 15, when Halloween Kills debuts on the big screen and on the Peacock streaming network!
